We are looking for an ambitious and passionate marketer to join our team and support the company’s success and innovative growth ambitions. As a forward-thinking company we are seeking an equally agile Assistant Brand Manager who prides themselves as an all-rounder and have the ability to juggle and manage a range of different projects. The Position

  • Digital and Social Media Management across various platforms – you will be planning, developing content and monitoring performance;
  • Coordinate the implementation of Tassal’s Retailer and Local area marketing programs (including activations with our retailers and wet fish shops);
  • Assist in the development of the marketing plan, including strategy, communications, and media;
  • Play a key role in the New Product Development process, as well as the development and management of merchandise and POS;
  • Sponsorship and influencer activation management;
  • Manage budget and ensure financial deliverables are achieved;
  • Review and evaluate market data (including competitor and scan sale data); and
  • Build and grow solid relationships with third party suppliers and internal departments to achieve business objectives and plans in line with budget and timelines.

About You

  • Minimum 2 years’ brand marketing experience ideally within an FMCG industry;
  • Demonstrated experience in brand or trade marketing, digital or shopper activation ideally within FMCG or similar industry;
  • Firm understanding of shopper activations including below the line activations, B2B and digital marketing;
  • Tertiary qualification (Bachelor of Business Marketing or equivalent); with an understanding of current and future marketing trends and direction;
  • A killer eye for detail with the ability to multi/task run multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Creative and innovative thinker with a passion for marketing!
  • Respectful and empathetic outcomes based with a great sense of humour tempered with a sense of urgency;
  • Proactive, positive attitude with a strong bias for action in a fast-paced environment;
  • Strong commitment and ability to keep internal and external stakeholders informed.
