We are currently looking for an experienced and talented UI/UX Designer to join our team in Melbourne.

About the Role*

  • Analyse customer research findings to visualise innovative customer focused solutions that are desirable for end-users, technologically feasible and meet business objectives;
  • Review and adhere to brand guidelines and able to align the look and feel across several brands and products;
  • Create designs for customers in an eCommerce and business process engineering context;
  • Validate prototypes through user testing and iterate findings;
  • Work closely with stakeholders across the business to understand the customer vision and business requirements to translate into the digital experience;
  • Contribute to and seek feedback from the technical team to ensure the design is technically feasible while still representing the customer research;
  • As a talented UX/UI Designer, you: Develop web style guides, component designs and design systems.

About You*

  • Will have demonstrated experience using design tools to deliver usable prototypes, with an eye for visual attention to detail;
  • Bring a customer centred approach and have a passion to deliver best in class customer experiences for our partners;
  • Enjoy the flexibility of working from home, the Melbourne office in a convenient location or on the client site as required.

Skills & Experience Required

  • 3+ years experience in UX/UI roles with proven end-to-end experience creating elegant, clear, and engaging digital experiences;
  • A creative, and energetic personality with a passion for design and up-to-date knowledge of tools, patterns and trends;
  • Extensive hands-on experience with digital design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma or Sketch;
  • Experience running design thinking workshops leveraging technologies such as Miro;
  • A proven ability to communicate and deliver UX design concepts to internal and external stakeholders;
  • Experience working effectively in a multi-disciplinary team comprised of business analysts, product owners, digital marketing experts, and web developers;
  • Working in an agile and fast-paced project environment.

Desired Skills*

  • Understanding or experience with customer experience design or service design
  • Holistic understanding of web technologies (e.g., HTML5, CSS) and responsive page design
  • Experience working in cross functional teams with business analysts, front-end developers and QA specialists is highly regarded
