Swinburne is embarking on an exciting journey, working towards our new vision of bringing people and technology together to build a better world. As the Future Students Officer, you will be dealing with prospective student enquiries within the agreed timeframe with the aim of recruiting them to a Swinburne program. As the first point of contact for many students, you will provide high quality care to assist with a variety of student enquiries, ranging from recruitment and sales, relationship management and study opportunities.

Reporting directly to Domestic and Direct Recruitment Team Leader, you will also participate in various recruitment events and provide one to one course counselling sessions.

About Marketing
The role sits within our Marketing unit who are responsible for coordinating the communications, brand management and market research activities of Swinburne which supports national and direct international student recruitment.
Specifically, Marketing, is responsible for: developing and managing the Swinburne brand, domestic and international student recruitment, developing and implementing sales channel and pipeline management strategies; advertising; and conducting market research and data analysis.

About you
To be suitable for the role you will have:
  • Demonstrated experience in solutions selling and proven ability to meet sales targets
  • Experience in delivering high level customer service in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, teamwork and negotiation skills
  • High level written and oral communication skills, including excellent public speaking ability
