Job Description

  • Part-Time position minimum 30 hours per week, working from the comfort of your home!

The Role

At AAMI, actions speak louder than words — that’s why we’re proud to be the doers of insurance. From car insurance with or without Roadside Assist, to home insurance with or without accidental damage cover, AAMI provides our customers with a range of policies all in one place.

Right now, our Narre Warren office is looking for new work at home sales and service superstars to help new or existing AAMI customers by asking the right questions to determine their insurance requirements or supporting their queries. Key Responsibilities

Receiving a high volume of calls regarding AAMI insurance products, you will…

  • Deliver a seamless customer experience on various insurance products that provides value for our customers
  • Identify the appropriate insurance policies to meet customer requirements
  • Achieve customer service, sales and retention targets set for initially car insurance, with home and other policies down the track.

Skills & Experience

To be successful, you will need:

  • To build and develop customer relationships through strong customer service and a passion to be your best
  • Experience in a service or sales role with the ability to follow processes and a proven track record in achieving targets being highly regarded
  • Ability to adapt to change and demonstrate resilience
  • Good computer literacy and navigation skills
  • Ability to commit to your rostered shift option for a minimum of 12 months

Hours & Work from home setup

We currently have multiple part time opportunities. Available shift options are below:

  • Option 1 – 30 hours per week – 4 days per week, Monday to Thursday, working a rotating roster starting anytime between 8am-11am.
  • Option 2 – 30 hours per week - 5 days per week, Monday to Friday, working a rotating roster starting anytime between 9am-11am.
  • Option 3 – 30 hours per week - 5 days per week, Monday to Friday, working a rotating roster starting anytime between 1:30pm-3:30pm.

As these are work at home roles you will need:

  • A home phone or VOIP line installed in the working room, internet connection, desktop PC or Laptop with second screen and a home office set up. If you do not have all these already you will need to have them by your first day.
  • To live within an hour travel from our Narre Warren Office


We offer 5 weeks full time training starting from the 10th of January Monday-Friday 8.30-4.30pm in the office (or virtually depending on government restrictions) followed by additional high support when taking calls.
