About the Role

CareSouth have an exciting opportunity for an IT Support Officer to join the Information and Technology team in a full-time permanent capacity!

The role of an IT Support Officer deals with day-to-day customer enquiries and ensures that CareSouth computers, mobile devices and associated systems operate effectively throughout all sites for our staff. The role will provide prompt and professional technical advice, resolution and assistance to always ensure the safety of all data and systems.

We are looking for someone who has

  • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow into the role!

A day in the life of an IT Support Officer

  • Manage user accounts, passwords and permissions with AD and Office 365
  • Resolve 1st, 2nd and some 3rd level IT support requests
  • Maintain and replace PC hardware and peripherals
  • Supporting Windows 10, Office 365 and Remote Desktop applications
  • Troubleshoot our communication systems via VOIP, video conferencing and mobile
  • Analysing and troubleshooting more complex IT issues, such as network or server issues
  • Assist in long-term projects within in the IT team.
  • Provide friendly, professional service to staff in person, over the phone and remotely
