Your Impact

Reporting to the Manager Procurement Services, the Procurement Pricing Lead sits within the Regional Hub and is responsible for the operational management, of the Procurement Pricing processes through Business Services Management (Onshore and Offshore), E2E Process Management and Service Optimisation.

Leading an offshore team, this role will see you responsible for ensuring the operational fulfilment of Service Levels, Business KPI delivery, enhanced business user and vendor experience, and driving the continuous improvement of services in the Procurement Pricing process areas.

Key responsibilities

  • Engage and support offshore service providers to deliver key SLA’s and process accuracy
  • Maximise returns and reputation by ensuring accurately priced payments to vendors
  • Actively engage with Procurement category managers to ensure contracts are accurately reflected in Asahi ERP’s
  • Monitor and manage adherence to agreed service quality and performance requirements; working closely with on-shore and off-shore teams to address gaps in performance
  • Minimise business disruption through active forward planning with on-shore / off-shore teams
  • Support the development and execution of the Procurement Pricing process management, continuity, and improvement roadmap
  • Work towards an aligned Procurement Pricing methodology and process across all Asahi divisions.
  • Lead and manage off-shore team member/s; motivating them to deliver a service that exceeds our stakeholder expectations
  • Establish and maintain trusted operational relationships with key business stakeholders and vendors
  • Partner closely with the on-shore Procurement team, across all categories

About You

  • Tertiary qualified in Finance, Accounting or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Procurement Services or related field
  • Experience with direct material category pricing structures desirable
  • Experience within a similar FMCG environment preferred
  • Experience working with large, diverse teams and/or stakeholder groups to drive outcomes required (remote team leadership is highly regarded)
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver business outcomes via 3rd party Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) partnerships
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage stakeholder expectations, negotiating deadlines to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Solid vendor governance and service improvement skills
  • Experience with SAP essential, MS Dynamics ERP system as well is desirable
