The Position

Position Title: Recruitment Coordinator
Classification: HS3
Salary per hour (exc. super): $37.68 per hour
Hours per fortnight: 76 hours per fortnight (Would consider 2 x 38 hours 0.5 FTE)
Employment Status: Full Time - Fixed Term, Part Time - Fixed Term (3 month position - Casual Adminstration Bank position offered at the end of fixed term period)

The role of Recruitment Coordinator is to partner with departmental managers to ensure all recruitment and selection activities are completed in a timely manner in order to meet the demands of the service. This position encompasses 2 x 0.5 FTE project roles for the coordination of an attraction strategy and graduate matching day process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating an attraction strategy for Midwifery services demand
  • Coordinating the Graduate matching day process within the WP&R team in collaboration with CLAD (Clinical Learning and Development)

The Team

The Workforce Planning and Resourcing team works in partnership with managers to tailor effective and innovative recruitment, retention, attraction and workforce planning strategies across the organisation. The team also sources the clinical and non-clinical workforces at Bendigo Health to ensure the organisation can provide optimal patient care.

The team work with allocated departmental managers to support them in all aspects of the recruitment and selection process. This includes coordinating the processes of the online e-Recruit recruitment system, internal and external advertising of vacancies, updating position descriptions, running assessment centres, creation of employment contracts, on boarding new staff members and ensuring all pre-employment checks and credentialing are completed prior to commencement. The team also generate variation employment contracts for existing staff.

Selection Criteria Desirable: 01.Degree qualified in Human Resources or working towards

Essential: 02.Experience working with the end to end recruitment process
03.Current awareness and knowledge of human resource management best practice models and concepts specifically relating to recruitment practices including recruitment trends in the health care industry

Essential: 04.Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective business relationships with key stakeholders.
05.Demonstrated ability to think strategically and provide strategies that have a positive impact on the organisation with respect to workforce planning and resourcing.
06.Excellent organisational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain strong attention to detail and work to set timeframes / deadlines
07.Capability to communicate process change and provide education support to managers
