As a creative strategist, you’ll translate client objectives, audience data and cultural trends into meaningful creative insights and concepts for our partners. You will be supporting brand strategy and sales teams in developing and pitching holistic, integrated campaigns to a diverse portfolio of cross-category clients. This role will report into the Creative Lab Lead, ANZ.
You must enjoy getting your hands dirty, building work and prototyping ideas. While you'll work closely with your team & the brand strategy team, you'll often need to act autonomously and influence our partners to pursue what you believe is right for clients and for our business.
You'll partner closely with XFN teams to scale your solutions into tools, resources and solutions for clients. We are looking for someone with a knack for both creative and strategy. Drive innovation in TikTok Australia by conceptualising, developing, strategising, designing and contributing written concepts, illustrations, mock-ups and video edits for our creative partners – collaborating with brand strategy and the sales teams.
Design native and branded campaigns for leading brands, and bridge TikTok’s aesthetic with the client’s brand guidelines
Create and refresh design templates for ongoing projects
Contribute to and lead the development of creative playbooks for our creative partners
Collaborate with internal teams on TikTok content, ideating on creative ways to execute and design videos and create innovative ways to utilise in-app effects
Ability to work in a fast paced environment under tight deadlines
5 - 10 years’ experience in digital media and marketing at a creative agency or publisher
Outstanding online portfolio demonstrating success in creating compelling visual design language and result-focused marketing designs
A design aesthetic that is on trend, fun, polished, and youthful.
Must have knowledge of pre-production, production and post production workflow
Must understand, articulate, and strategically apply the latest platform, industry, creative trends, and digital best practices, always seeking the next opportunity for your brands
A creative storyteller who understands how to connect with our target audiences across all social and digital channels using great copy, imagery/video and community interactions
Experience in creative/design/production environment
Ability to use Microsoft Office (Powerpoint, Word & Excel), Google slides, and Apple Keynote.
Must be very organised and able to juggle several projects at different stages at a time.
A genuine interest in and aptitude for the type of content TikTok makes
Understands the TikTok brand and voice
Can work positively and collaboratively with internal staff
Grace under pressure, great people skills, high integrity
Great organisational skills (both with media management & personally)
Animation and motion graphics skills preferred ideal but not required

Experience in performance / auction marketing platform sales
Experience working with global partners in different time zones & cultures
Knowledge and experience using the Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop & Premiere Pro)
Excellent graphic design and illustration skills
