We have an incredibly exciting new position to join our marketing team. Reporting to the Group Director of Marketing and working directly with the Ovolo Australia F&B teams, you will manage all above the line and below the line activities for Ovolo’s Australian F&B outlets ensuring all activities align with both Ovolo and venue’s brand and maximises Ovolo’s positive exposure in local and international markets across various platforms.

The gig includes (but not limited to)

Marketing, Communication, Digital and Planning

  • Create and execute overall F&B strategy for the F&B team
  • Work collaboratively with the Director of Operations Australia and Group Chef on planning and reporting.
  • Ensure content representing the F&B outlets across print, offline and online media platforms is consistently on-brand for the venue.
  • Management of promotional and contra activities with third parties and suppliers
  • Assist the various hotel C&E and Sales Managers in driving event revenue and leveraging key hotel events. This will include the development of supporting media liaison, branded content opportunities, advertising, event site listings and media collateral.
  • Manage photography assets for the group including management of photographers + briefing documents for any new photo or video shoots
  • Creation of promotions and related marketing collateral with local freelance designer and HK design team or external agencies
  • Where necessary assist with Group F&B activities and coordination.
  • Plan, promote, communicate and execute special events with our restaurant and bars through all methods available and identifying under-utilised methods of advertising in order to mark them for development.
  • Work with the Group Digital Marketing Coordinator and Group Digital Marketing Manager to manage and update website content for relevant Ovolo F&B promotions – websites, webpages, event listings etc
  • Manage all social media and content creation for each venue to drive follower growth, engagement and revenue. Utilise this channel and work within company and brand guidelines.
  • Alongside the Group Digital Marketing Coordinator and Group Digital Marketing Manager to manage and optimise SEM/remarketing ads to defend the brand SEM space and grow the ad channel for F&B
  • Management of database, including database acquisition strategy, segmentation, and accuracy.
  • Ownership of the digital marketing budget with responsibility to prove ROI on all spend using insight KPI's and brand metrics.
  • Monitor, optimise and grow website traffic coming from social media
  • Monitor and manage all comments/engagement across the F&B social platforms
  • Manage daily media relations, media enquiries, site tours and opportunities for Ovolo F&B outlets
  • Coordinate site inspections, media site visits and PR enquiries

To be successful you will ideally have:

  • Marketing experience from hotel, retail, tourism or advertising agency backgrounds to ensure you can hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and quality
  • Experience in developing creative and agency briefs
  • Strong organisational, time and project management skills
  • Strong copywriting skills, for both advertising and content output
  • Strong social media, web, and digital marketing skills
  • Experience with content marketing activities
  • Experience in execution of multi-channel campaigns
  • Ability to build relationships with senior management
  • Ability to think creatively and bring innovation to the role
  • Ability to be self-managed and work independently
  • Relevant Marketing or Business qualifications
