Bankwest Retail Lending Operations is responsible for the fulfilment, servicing and settlement of Bankwest home loans on behalf of our customers. We strive to provide exceptional service to our customers through the home loan journey and help them achieve the dream of owning a home.

Within Bankwest retail Home Lending Operations is our Bankwest Records and Document Management team. We are responsible for the day to day management of all documents and mortgages being sent and returning to the Bank for safe storage, correct processing and providing opportunity for retrieval. We support the disbursal of all received customer correspondence to enable safe indexing to all customer cases as well as the safe storage and assessment of all received Mortgage documents. We are collectively responsible for the printing of customer correspondence and customer documentation and strive to offer a timely and efficient service.

We currently have an opportunity for a customer service or operations superstar to join our team for a 12 month contract. This role would require you to be based in office at 300 Murray Street Bankwest Place.

About the role

As a Customer Service Specialist, you would be responsible for managing a pipeline of requests each day and actioning these tasks within agreed timeframes, to ensure we can provide exceptional support to both our internal stakeholders and our customers.

Your responsibilities:

  • Providing superior levels of internal customer service by responding to enquiries in a timely manner

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Reviewing documentation to ensure legitimacy and processing for filing

  • Identifying, investigating and documenting discrepancies

  • Performing operational duties to support the program

  • Working as a member of a team to ensure program objectives and service standards are consistently achieved

We're interested in hearing from people who have:

  • Customer Service of operational experience

  • Understanding of loan documentation (desirable)

  • The ability to drive strong customer focussed outcomes across the team

  • Highly effective organisational and time management skills.

  • Has high attention to detail and an inherent desire to provide excellent customer service.

  • Superior stakeholder management techniques and customer service skills.

  • Advanced written and oral communication skills.
