About the role:

Our Commercial and Legal team are passionate about providing quality legal support to all aspects of the LXRP functions. The Legal Assistant role will be responsible for providing a range of legal, executive and administrative support to the Director, Legal, as well as the wider team.
You will have the opportunity to collaborate with a range of internal and external stakeholders, as you provide high level administrative assistance in a fast paced, complex environment. On a day-to-day basis you will be supporting the Director Legal with diary management, monitoring incoming emails and scheduling meetings, as well as:
Liaising with external stakeholders to arrange meetings, coordinate papers, create agendas, check on process status and more.
Provide ad hoc administration and guidance to the wider team regarding systems and processes.
Maintaining the conflict of interest register and management plans.
Assisting team members with electronic record management – including managing the local records, precedents and document management databases.
The Legal Assistant, is a 3-year fixed term contract, paying between $87,640 and $99,438 + super. Whilst based in the Melbourne CBD, LXRP supports flexible and remote working options.
We are looking for individuals who have a strong sense of purpose in helping the LXRP deliver on transforming the way Victorians live, work and travel. We'd love to hear from experienced administration professionals, ideally with 3-5 years experience in a legal environment.
You will have strong verbal and written communication skills that allow you to collaborate with a range of team members and stakeholders, across varying levels. Being customer focussed and proactive in nature on everything you do is essential in this position.

Outstanding organisational skills – you will be working in a fast-paced environment, being organised is the key to success.
Proven experience working on high volume administration autonomously.
Strong planning and prioritisation skills – juggling multiple tasks will be a part of your daily routine.
