The Finance department is responsible for the financial performance of the Hotel and is currently seeking an Income Auditor/Finance Officer to join its team.

Job Description

  • Reconcile and audit hotel revenues on a daily basis
  • Prepare summary of in house codes and daily rebates and ensure adequacy of explanation and appropriate approval is received in accordance with Marriott Policies and Procedures
  • Compile Hotel’s Income Audit Pack
  • Audit and reconcile Marriott Redemption points
  • Investigate and resolve issues on a timely basis
  • Comply with all Corporate and Hotel Standards and Procedures.
  • Assist in month-end procedures and with A&L Reconciliations
  • Assist in other areas in the department as required


Background in the hospitality industry preferred

  • Accounting degree is required
  • Knowledge of either Accounts Payable and/or Income Auditing would be an advantage
  • Solid knowledge of Opera and PeopleSoft system would be an advantage
  • Excellent time management skills and be well organised on a daily basis
  • Advanced communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical and numerical skills
  • Have the ability to work well with others
  • National police check certificate required
