Based at Corowa or Howlong

Join one of Federation Council’s newest Teams at the Corowa Aquatic Centre and Howlong Pool. We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic individuals, who are also versatile and able to meet the needs of our members and patrons. The successful applicants will need to be very flexible whilst Council is evaluating the service levels needed in this areas. Our facilities are open 7 days per week and weekend work will be required as per the roster.

The Customer Service Officer is responsible for acting as the Aquatic Centre and Howlong Pool’s first point of contact in person and over the phone in relation to the services and facilities available at our public pool facilities and its related venues whilst ensuring the provision of high quality service to customers.

The Customer Service Officer is also responsible for accurately processing of all transactions through a computerised point of sale system and completing the reconciliation process at the end of each shift.

To be Successful in the Role you should have but not limited to:

  • Cash handling, EFT transaction processing and Point of Sale reconciliation experience
  • Previous experience in a customer service environment
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificates
  • Working with Children’s Check
  • NSW National Police Check

Junior to Senior Casual Rates range from $22.24 to $35.38/hour, this includes casual loading, this range depends on age, qualifications and experience. Please note that weekend work is the base rate + penalty rates. This is a grade T3 to grade 6 in Federation Council’s Salary System. The appointment will be in accordance with the Local Government State Award and Council’s policies and conditions of employment.
