Our extensive portfolio includes some of the country’s longest-running and most-loved brands, and boasts magazines, websites, videos, social, review sites, podcasts and experiences. This includes Australian Women’s Weekly, New Idea, Marie Claire, Gourmet Traveller, House & Garden, Wheels and many more.

Do you remember where you were when Patrick died in Offspring? And can you spot the difference between a Summer Bay resident and an Erinsborough one? If TV is all you live and breathe then you need to be applying for the role of EDITOR of TV WEEK.

The biggest and best television magazine in the country is looking for an editor to steer the ship and deliver to its readers who have been loyal to the brand for over 60 years.

The successful candidate will have extensive magazine history and work well under a tight weekly deadline. It is a small team that will need a strong leader to make strategic decisions regarding covers, forward planning and be able to balance the expectations of both client and consumer.

As well as strong local television knowledge, you will have a good news sense to know when to go big on a certain story and what is the right tone for the TV WEEK reader.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Editorial Director when it comes to strategic planning and working out commercial opportunities for the brand.

We’re looking for someone with a high attention to detail, is well-organised and knows how to inspire a team to achieve great results.

  • Ensure content is always in line with the overall strategic vision of the brand and speaks to its unique selling proposition.
  • Develop and maintain an ongoing cover strategy that promotes variety and ensures weekly engagement from readers
  • Work with internal stakeholders on design to ensure alignment with editorial vision and development of partnerships to promote brand awareness.
  • Develop collaborative relationships with relevant internal stakeholders such as Advertising, Marketing and Digital teams to achieve brand strategy, budget and external partnership objectives.

Create special issues/one-shots to expand the brand’s reach and scale
