As a key leadership role within the Financial Services group, the Procurement & Contract Management Coordinator leads a customer focused, high functioning, agile and results focused unit to achieve strategic procurement and contract management initiatives in compliance with governing legislative and policy frameworks. By utilising your strong procurement and contract management experience, you will have the opportunity to improve procedures and processes and act as a true mentor and support person for your team. With a can-do and results driven attitude, you will have the opportunity to work closely with managers and executive on continuous improvement ideas to ensure Council is utilising best practice procurement and contract management models.

Our ideal candidate will be degree qualified in a related field and have proven experience leading a high functioning strategic procurement and contract management team. Your experience will entitle membership to the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply – Australasia. Underpinned by your commitment to continuous improvement, strong work ethic and ability to build effective working relationships, Council is seeking an experienced procurement coordinator who is motivated by change, leading and mentoring others and has demonstrated ability to be a trusted technical expert by senior leaders.
