Assessor, Temporary, NSW - Working from home

Role type: Temporary till 26th November 2021
Salary: SNSW Grade 2/3 full-time salary $53,624 base + superannuation
Location: NSW – flexible working from home arrangements

About the Role

Reporting to a Team Leader, the Assessor is responsible for assessing eligibility for NSW Government grants. Cases will be assigned in Salesforce Lightning. Service NSW are currently creating Talent Pools for Assessors.

In this role, you’ll have some of the skills below:

  • Provide administration and support services, with guidance
  • Collect and compile information
  • Respond to enquiries by phone and email
  • Provide customer or client service over the phone and email
  • Prepare routine documentation and correspondence
  • Process transactions, including assessing eligibility using established administrative practices, including work instructions and frameworks
  • Update and maintain records and databases
  • Handle customer information
  • Accurately enter data
  • File and store physical and electronic records
  • Liaising with others to resolve discrepancies
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce Lightning experience would be an advantage but not essential

You will be required to have a personal laptop/computer to use during your employment.

A talent pool may be created for future ongoing and temporary roles and is valid for a period of up to 18 months. Employment to Service NSW is subject to a satisfactory national criminal record check.
