The role of Health and Safety Manager ANZ is a key member of the Supply Chain Leadership team and has responsibility for the development and implementation of all health and safety activities across our ANZ operations which includes Supply Chain & Commercial operations. We’re looking for an individual who is passionate about Health & Safety, who will play an instrumental role in driving safety programs across the business and make positive advances changes in safety behaviours.

Key Responsibilities include:-

  • Leading the Kellogg ANZ Health & Safety function to ensure compliance, deliver goals and objectives and building further organisational capability
  • In partnership with the Incident Management Team ensures effective incident management is underpinned by strong processes
  • Leading the Health & Safety work-streams of the Lean Manufacturing project across our ANZ Supply Chain Operations.
  • Management of our national Workers Compensation and third-party providers realising opportunities for cost savings and improvements
  • Develop and coordinate Health & Safety & Workers Compensation reporting activities across ANZ
  • Partner with HR on Health and Wellbeing strategies and program implementation across ANZ
  • Work closely with our frontline leaders to upskill them in modern Health & Safety practices and embedding a safety culture

Skills, experience & attributes sought:-

  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent in Health & Safety or similar discipline
  • At least 10 years previous generalist Health & Safety experience including workers compensation and injury management, EHS compliance and legislation, training and development, audits and workplace investigations
  • Experience leading a health and safety team
  • Experience in driving Behavioural Based safety initiatives
  • Demonstrated experience working in a Manufacturing environment and promoting positive Health & Safety behaviours at all levels
  • Financial acumen to ensure solutions and recommendations are cost conscious
  • Strong interpersonal skills including ability to resolve conflict constructively
  • Ability to communicate and influence at all levels of the organisation
