Job Overview/Summary

We are looking for a Brand Manager to join the Clorox team in Australia to manage the Burt’s Bees brand. The Brand Manager will be responsible for leading and developing brand strategies and business plans to deliver financial objectives and brand objectives for the Burt’s Bees brand across ANZ.

Key Responsibilities

About the Brand Manager role:

This is a permanent full time role. Your mission will be to work with cross-functional teams and agencies to plan, execute, measure and improve brand campaigns, creating best in class practices. You will lead the local strategy and execute the integrated marketing plan to achieve sales and share targets. Your close working relationships will be with the Burt’s Bees cross functional team and the Marketing Manager.

In this role, the Brand Manager will:

  • Utilise consumer insights to develop brand strategies and business plans.
  • Maintain and expand the Burt’s Bees digital presence including social media and ecommerce as a growth channel.
  • Own the execution of the 3 year strategic innovation plan and align the plan with strategy
  • Responsible for the management of advertising spend.
  • Lead local projects such as line extensions and be the key point of contact with important partnerships such as PR and social media agencies.

Key Skills, Abilities, Experience and Education Required

  • A highly capable marketer with a minimum of 5 years’ experience at Brand Manager level, with a proven track record in a consumer goods organisation.
  • Experience in developing leading edge brand activations including PR, digital, social and experiential marketing.
  • Strong project management, cross functional team leadership and attention to detail.
  • Experience in new product development.
  • Experience in FMCG companies.
  • Minimum Bachelor degree ideally in business or marketing.

Skills and Abilities

  • Strong capability & track record in FMCG consumer marketing.
  • Naturally curious, always looking at better ways to achieve brand targets.
  • Proven ability to multi-task and set priorities.
  • A team player, with a collaborative nature
