Juniper Networks has an immediate opening for a team-oriented, highly effective, and motivated individual to be part of the 128 Technology Sales Engineering Team. Sales Engineers are a critical component of the Juniper sales team and have a primary responsibility to build strong relationships with Partner technical leadership, develop and deliver technical training via enablement vehicles and drive mindshare and wallet share with Juniper partners. Sales Engineers have in-depth, hands-on experience with Juniper's products and services as well as competitor's products and services, and can demonstrate solid internetworking and security skills to business partners and customers. Sales Engineers assist with understanding customers' requirements, the design of Juniper solutions, delivering sales presentations, presenting technical information about solutions and services, conducting product demonstrations, coordinating/installing product evaluations, providing configurations/bill of materials, presenting/training at seminars, and Partner branch locations, and responding to RFPs and RFIs


  • Technical sales support for service providers and enterprises in ANZ.
  • Provide technical and executive-level presentations covering 128 Technology products and implementation in SD-WAN and Datacenter architectures.
  • Work with customers to define network architectures, product requirements, and deployment strategies.
  • Execute and program manage POCs, customer trials, and production deployments.
  • Provide ongoing pre-sales and post-sales support.
  • Work with 128 Technology product management and engineering to define and track product requirements.


  • Minimum 5 years of experience in communications networking.
  • Working knowledge of IP routing and protocols, BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS.
  • Working knowledge of Linux, OSS/BSS systems, API’s and DevOps tools such as NETCONF, REST, Ansible, SaltStack, chef, puppet, OpenStack, VMware, Python.
  • Ability to troubleshoot IP networks, knowledge of 3rd party analysis tools such as Wireshark.
  • Working knowledge of IP network security, firewalls, and encryption mechanisms.

Desired Criteria:

  • Knowledge of IP networking with session-oriented real-time protocols for voice and video, such as SIP and WebRTC.
  • Working knowledge of AWS, Google, and AZURE cloud services, Product management training, and/or certifications such as PMP.
  • Ability to develop applications using DevOps tools.
