Your Role

We have an opening for an analytical, data driven Technical Account Management Lead. The Lead will build the processes to analyse our unique data and translate it into high-quality and actionable insights to improve the effectiveness of advertiser campaigns and unlock business opportunities. They will be the advocate for new digital media solutions for our customers using data driven insights and experience in the digital media landscape. They will work with various stakeholders and teams across the organisation both locally and internationally.

Success in the this position requires a focus on capturing performance data, the ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment, a passion for discovering new insights, and the ability to provide custom solutions for advertisers leveraging our unique ad product suite.


  • Manage and develop a team of 8+ Technical Account Managers to deliver results against set goals
  • Build scalable processes for our growing Technical Account Managers team to increase adoption and engagement of TikTok’s auction platform and auction-based tools
  • Use findings and insights from client performance to collaborate with the relevant internal teams in order to create playbooks and custom solutions for verticals & agency holding groups
  • Monitor & analyse advertiser performance data to identify optimisation opportunities, adoption of best practices and offer data-driven insights to enable advertisers to scale across the platform
  • Manage and grow post-sale client relationships with advertisers of all sizes
  • Define projects and workflows that deliver insights, reports, and feedback about our customer experience
  • Demonstrate deep analytical ability, and develop great expertise in TikTok’s proprietary metrics, working to constantly evolve how we analyse and communicate data driven insights to our advertisers
  • Create learning agendas and test/learn structures to gather robust learnings and implement them at large with key partners
  • Identify opportunities for partnership growth through new products and experimental strategies
  • Coordinate with ad ops, product and R&D teams etc. internally to ensure a smooth and successful campaign execution
  • Investigate and work directly with product & engineering teams to help them troubleshoot client issues during a campaign
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of TikTok’s features and ad units
  • Work and collaborate with diverse group of internal cross-functional teams
  • Take the initiative and operate with a high degree of autonomy

  • At least 10+ years of experience in account management/client services roles in digital marketing
  • At least 5+ years of experience managing a team of 5 or more executing on a biddable network
  • Experience managing branding advertisers with a deep understanding of their challenges
  • Experience helping clients execute custom solutions involving technical implementation
  • Experience in performance advertising in a role where you managed significant complexity and scaling challenges
  • Proactive attitude with excellent project management, organisational, and analytical skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to effectively translate technical language to non-technical stakeholders
  • Comfortable presenting complex analysis in a simple, easy to digest way to C-suite level stakeholders
  • Self-starter, fast learner that is able to quickly understand and prioritise the needs of the business
  • Experience with third party programmatic and measurement partners (verification, DSPs, MMPs)
  • High attention to detail and very organised
